A set of 7-pin cables allows you to power basic lights, e.g. bicycle racks. The 13 pin cables can provide an additional power supply for the reversing light and have 2 power cords with appropriate ground connections. Guard trailers use a constant power cord to illuminate the interior and / or the refrigerator. Some trailers also use a switching power supply. Note: Electric bike carriers often have an electric lifting system. This system requires a 13-pin plug.
